Young and Hanson

You may describe the designs of Young and Hanson as fresh, playfull, workmanship, innovative and with a trade spirit.

Young and Hanson focuses on the old Hanseatic trade lines of the northern Hanseatic cities like Groningen, Bremen, Hamburg, Lubeck, Kopenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Wismar and Riga. Perhaps later even Iceland and Scotland.

The product collection will show the unambiguous mentality of cities where design can grow and develop silently. With the presence of industry and commodities in these cities, it will create space to experiment with new materials, machines and techniques.

 

The designers who contribute to the collection work in their studios and make the products into a unique, small productions. This makes the designs personal, rare and guaranteed fair trade.
